About Us
Bienvenue à La Maison Jaune, a little corner of France in the heart of Philadelphia at 244 S 22nd Street.
Our café is a celebration of l’art de vivre à la française — the art of living simply, beautifully, and with joy in the everyday. Here, every detail is designed to delight the senses: the scent of freshly baked pastries, the rich aroma of coffee, and the gentle hum of conversation.
Our in-house pastry chef crafts delicate French pastries daily, from buttery madeleines to flaky quiches, each created with passion and precision. Every bite tells a story of tradition, care, and the simple pleasure of indulgence.
Coffee is our love language, and we proudly serve Rival Bros Coffee, brewed with attention and artistry. Each cup, whether an espresso or a creamy café au lait, is made to savor — a small ritual to brighten your day.
La Maison Jaune is more than a café; it is a refuge, a meeting place, a moment of calm and pleasure in the city. Whether you linger over a pastry, catch up with friends, or simply pause to enjoy the moment, we welcome you to slow down, sip, and savor life.

EXCELLENT Based on 46 reviews Posted on Shermeen AhmadTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Just discovered this lovely Parisian café in our neighborhood and I’m already obsessed. Rose was so kind and helpful, and everything I tried was phenomenal—the Le Matin, macaron de Nancy, and a perfectly made cappuccino. Such a cozy spot. She made a mean Matcha Latte as well!Posted on Aine McCauleyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Excellent pastries (some of the best I’ve ever had), atmosphere and caffeinated goods. Was walking through Philly on a cold day in need of a respite and stumbled upon this spot. Inside has a warm, relaxed feel with soft music playing. The smells of fresh baked goods and coffee fill the air to make for a very cozy environment. The staff is also very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!Posted on Julia Mackin-McLaughlinTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Friendly staff, vibe is nice, and there’s a good bit of seating. The quiche and hazelnut latte were amazing.
